RASHID-AJAMU: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Spirit of Ms. Qaiyim H Rashid-Ajamu will be held Friday, February 3, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at World Changers Church International, 2500 Burdett Road College Park, Georgia Dr. Creflo A. Dollar, Senior Pastor and Pastor Carol Jones, Officiant. Pastor Ken Terry, Eulogist. A viewing will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Survivors are three daughters, Cecilia A. (Anthony) Kirkland, Deirdre E. (Vincent) Thomas, and Aaisha Y. (Adebola) Pelemo; two sons, Craig E. (Yolanda) Evans, and Jehan M. (Melanie) Rashid; grandchildren, Zoneet “Nikki” Battle, Donald L. (Kendra) Battle, Len’ci Ashei Battle, Jeremiah C. Thomas, Lorenzo D. Varner, Idiamin Beard, McAidden Glass, Jarad Augustine Evans, Melita N. Evans, Craig Evans, Jr., Christopher E. Evans, Rachael Heath, Elizabeth N. Evans, Paul E. Evans, Jamar B. Pride, Jalen B. Pride, Nasir M. Rashid, Layla N. Rashid, Malachi J. Redmond-Rashid, and Naima Y. Rashid; siblings, Georgianna Polk, Samuel Nelson, and Iris Abernathy; and a host of great grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
