GOODEN: A Homegoing Celebration honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Ronnie Kendrick Gooden, Sr. of Jonesboro, Georgia who passed May 2, 2023 will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Restoration Community Ministries Church, 3057 Walt Stephens Road, Jonesboro, Georgia; Pastor Charles Westmoreland, Officiant & Eulogist. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, 2005 Woodlawn Drive, Macon, Georgia. Survivors are his wife, Joyce S. Gooden; sons Ronnie K. Gooden, Jr. and Reginald Keith (Regina) Spencer; only daughter, Dr. Q. Sanya (Eric) Fluellen; brother, George Gooden, Sr. of Killen, Texas; sister, Tyshon L. Gooden of Macon, Georgia; uncle, Robert Lee Gooden, Sr.; three brothers-in-law, Clarence (Angelica) Shields, Rickey (Trina) Shields, and Rydell (Bernice) Shields, sister-in-law, Tina S. Phillips; eighteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, god-brothers, god-sisters, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
