EDWARDS: A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Leonard Edwards, Jr. of Austell, Georgia who passed April 19, 2024 will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, 12:00 noon at Simpson Street Church of Christ, 800 Joseph E. Boone Blvd., NW Atlanta, Georgia; Brother Marcus T. Watkins, Senior Minister and Officiant and Brother Dan Sims, Eulogist. Interment, Sunday, April 28, 2024, Jonas Lobe Cemetery, Bainbridge, Georgia. Viewing will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivor are his daughters, Morgan Edwards, Myah (Armando) Alejo, and Meagan Edwards; one sister, Kimberly Edwards; brothers, Cedric (Mary) Edwards, and Darnell Edwards; son-in–love, Matthew Colson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 a.m.
