JENKINS: A Celebration Ceremony honoring the Life and Legacy of Investigator Walter Jenkins, Jr. of Jonesboro, Georgia will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at World Changers Church International, 2500 Burdett Road, College Park, Georgia; Dr. Creflo Dollar, Senior Pastor & Eulogist and Pastor Ken Terry, Officiant. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, Georgia. Remains will lie in repose on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Survivors are his mother, Elizabeth W. Jenkins; daughter, Tianna J. Jenkins; two sons, Jackson R. Jenkins and Walter D. Jenkins, III “Trey”; former wife, Kathy Daniels Jenkins; two sisters, Donna Michele Jenkins-Mazyck (Alvin) and Sharon Jenkins Brown and Mary-Anne Venitucci; and nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives, friends, and extended law enforcement family. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
